The Huntsville Havoc have hit their stride this season. The management and the coaching staff worked tirelessly over the offseason to add to the roster and all that hard work seems to be giving its dividends in the form of some stellar performances. They have put together quite a consistent season thus far. Bigger and better things are now expected of them and the demand for Huntsville Havoc tickets points to the fact that their fans are ready to stand by them all the way through.

The Start

The Huntsville Havoc have a history that isn’t too old. They stepped foot on the ice rink for the first time for the 2004-2005 campaign. They had high hopes coming into the season as they had won the SEHL league title the previous year playing as the Channel Cats. It didn’t go according to the script and the Havoc managed to clinch sixth spot at the end of the season. That was still good enough for a postseason berth where they lost to Jacksonville in the first round.

Improved Performances

The Huntsville Havoc improved quite a lot in the next year. They had a much better second season. They not only came fifth in the table but also made it all the way to the second round of the playoffs as well. Their third season saw their standing improve further as the Havoc went fourth.

The next campaign turned out to be their least productive and the Huntsville Havoc not only came seventh in the standings but also failed to qualify for the postseason. They didn’t let the rot set in and bounced back next season by going fourth.

The Championship Win

By the time 2009-2010 season came around, the Havoc had put together quite a team. They went second in the standings at the end of the regular season. They upped the ante in the postseason and went on to clinch the championship for the first time in their history. Two seasons after failing to make the playoffs, they had won their first major title.

The Huntsville Havoc didn’t however make the most of that momentum and managed to come third next season. The last two campaigns have seen them finish at eighth spot in the standings which was nowhere near as good for a team of their stature. The roster was freshened up and the move has started to give results. The Havoc have seen their fortunes improve quite a lot during the current season and they certainly look up for the occasion this time around.

Their performances till now could be the beginning of a brand new era, one that will take them back to the top. They need to keep going and keep on putting in the hard yards. That is how it works in sports and that is all that Havoc have to do.
