Television Appearances

Keith's talent and success allowed him to catch the eyes of producers who cast him in television shows. He was a judge alongside other famous celebrities such as Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey on the twelfth season of Fox's American Idol. It has been announced that he will be returning for the thirteenth season as well. He was also a vocal coach on the first season of Australia's version of The Voice, a mix between a reality show and a singing competition.

 

Accolades

Numerous awards that have been awarded to Keith Urban are testament to the fact that he has surpassed many milestones and continues to do so. His first award was from the Academy of Country Music for the Top New Male Vocalist category. Just five years after he received his first Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for his hit song “You'll Think of Me.” After that he received three more Grammys, all for his superb vocal performances. Besides these he has also been the recipient of multiple ARIA Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards as well as a Golden Globe, a VMA, Teen Choice Award and CMT Music Award.

Keith is a multi-Platinum artist who has had an amazing fifteen number one singles since the start of his musical career. While his first album was certified only Platinum, his second and third albums were certified three times Platinum and two times Platinum, respectively.
