The electrifying ‘Light the Fuse Tour’ featuring Keith Urban has sparked even more buzz with his announcement of extended tour dates. Including the scheduled dates of the tour’s final leg, the artist will perform a total of 28 outdoor shows in support of his eighth studio album ‘Fuse’ by the end of the year. The ‘Little Bit of Everything’ singer is all set to make his stage presence special accompanied by the top notch openers Brett Eldredge and Little Big Town.
‘Fuse’- A Brand New Sound
‘I knew it would take time to build an album in a different way’ says Keith Urban. It took the artist two years to come up with a perfect sound for his latest album Fuse that debuted at the first position on the Billboard 200 and US Top Country Album Charts soon after the release. The album is a fearless experimentation of the diverse hitmakers such as Mike Elizondo, Jay Joyce, Stargate and Butch Walker who have pitched in the record. It is a follow up effort of his seventh studio album, ‘Get Closer’ that featured several hit country singles including You Gonna Fly, Without You and Long Hot Summer. Among other things, ‘Fuse’ is a reflection of his career’s success and takes into account his electrifying tours and sold out performances along with the stars like John Mayer, the Rolling Stones and Alicia Keys. With popular songs like Good Thing and A Little Bit of Everything, Urban asserts that his latest production is a culmination of a long musical quest.
Brett Eldredge- A Bright New Country Star
It hasn’t been long since Brett Eldredge stepped in the music industry and the artist has already become a common name in Nashville. His debut album ‘Bring You Back’ was released in 2013 and got ranked at second position on the US Country Charts instantly. Songs like Don’t Ya, It Aint Gonna Be Love and Raymond made it to the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot Country Songs list that added stars to his public profile. Eldredge was recently honored with the celebration of ‘Brett Eldredge Day’ in his home town Paris and ended 2013 on a high note. His live performances are famous for being full of energy where the artist engages with the crowd to keep things lively. According to Eldredge, ‘I want everybody in the crowd to feel the energy that I’m feeling from them.’ The artist is now all set to perform in Canada and New York City by opening for the Grammy Award winning country super star Keith Urban.
Little Big Town- The Four-Part Vocal Harmonies Group
2013 credited Little Big Town’s list of achievements with its very first Grammy Award in the category of ‘Best Country Duo/Group Performance’. The song ‘Pontoon’ was one of the biggest country singles of the year and the band was able to win over other well known artists like Taylor Swift, Ell Young Band and Alison Krauss in the competition. The group has 14 of its songs made it to the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and is anticipating the count to increase with its upcoming releases. After the successful Tornado Tour with Kacey Musgraves and David Nail, Little Big Town is now all set to open for Keith Urban in his upcoming Light the Fuse Tour 2014.
