Bring Me the Horizon – Formation and More

The English metal core band, Bring Me the Horizon was formed in 2004 in Yorkshire. After its formation the band released its first official EP titled “This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For” in October.  Because of the EP, the band managed to receive significant amount of recognition among metal bands.

Bring Me the Horizon’s successful EP was followed two years later by the release of their debut studio album titled “Count Your Blessings”. In its promotion they hit their first tour, along with The Blackouts and Lostprophets which went successfully. The band’s second studio album was recorded in Sweden and was titled “Suicide Season”, quite contradictory to their first album which preached counting of blessings. After its release, the band embarked on their first headlining tour across the United States. In 2008, they also appeared at the Warped Tour. A year later, they released the remix of their second album.

There Is Hell…. to Sempiternal

“There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret”, the band’s third studio album hit the market in October of 2010 and debuted on Billboard 200 at number seventeen. It reached number one spot within Australia and was a grand success in U.K. For the first time, the band was really summoning the horizon of success and fame. The band embarked on their long as well as famous world tour in April of 2011. They also toured as support band and main band for other performers such as Architects and Parkway Drive. After a short post-release third album break, the band was back into the limelight with their latest album, “Sempiternal”. In support of this new hit album, the band is embarking on a tour yet again, this time in collaboration with Of Mice & Men.

Of Mice & Men – Costa Mesa to The Flood

Of Mice & Men the band was formed in 2009, at Costa Mesa, California. The metalcore band’s lineup consists of Austin Carlile and Aaron Pauley along with a support band. The ensemble initially made a MySpace page, which earned them around 1,000,000 fans within a few months. Seeing the appreciation they were getting, they uploaded a cover of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face on their page, which led to their signing to the Rise Records.

In December of 2009, the band recorded two videos for their song, ‘Second & Sebring’, which was to bring them fame in future. The band’s debut self titled album was released in March of 2010. This was followed by an intense touring session, in which the band appeared as supporting act for several bands such as Dance Gavin Dance and Tides of Man. The same year, they also appeared in the Warped Tour.

A year later, Of Mice & Men were working hard, recording their sophomore studio album “The Flood”, which was released in June of 2011 and made it to the top of US Heat chart.

Restoring Force and The American Dream Tour

The band’s lead singer, Austin told the fans in an interview earlier in 2012 that they are working on their upcoming album, which is going to have more of a rock sound in it. By the end of year, another update regarding the album was put up on their Facebook page, which said that the band is demoing and writing new material for the album. The album is expected to release in 2014 and in its support, Of Mice & Men will be hitting the road for their “The American Dream Tour”. They will be joined by Bring Me the Horizon. Fans are looking forward to this collaborative tour by two of the most talented metal bands.
