The forthcoming event is expected to take place at the Le Reve Theatre, an intimate facility located in the luxury resort named Wynn. Situated on the infamous Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, the two billion dollar resort has earned five stars ratings from Michelin, Forbes, AAA and Mobil. Shows that have been taking place regularly at the Le Reve include Avenue Q, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Le Reve and SINATRA Dance with Me. Furthermore artists who have performed include Danny Gans and Garth Brooks. This time the venue is becoming host to yet another exciting presentation of its Le Reve production. The one of its kind, water-oriented theatrical presents a set that is made up of over one million gallons of water. It brings forth breathtaking acts combining danger, fantasy and reverie. With aerial acrobatics along with dancing on water, underwater tangos, water ballets and artistic athleticism, the Le Reve show will truly mesmerize audiences.
About Le Reve
The Le Reve production is a theatrical show created by Franco Dragone. Premiering on May 6th of 2005, the showcase has a massive water stage with seats set almost forty feet away from it. Audiences get to see riveting acrobats perform live with great talent and strength, which is combined with state of the art effects. The name of the production was inspired from the previous name of the resort which is French for “The Dream”. Le Reve was the name of a painting by Picasso owned by the business mogul and owner of the resort, Steve Wynn. Over the years, the show has grown to become, the best theatrical production in Las Vegas. The creative team of Le Reve consists of production designer Michel Crete, costume designer Claude Renard, composer Benoit Jutras, underwater designer Jacky Beffroi, aerial conceptor Didier Antoine, aquatic choreographer Dacha Nedorezova and clown conceptor John Gilkey.
Franco Dragone; Le Reve’s Creator
Le Reve has been directed by the popular Franco Dragone. Famous for his contributions to Cirque du Soleil and collaborations with Celine Dion, Dragone’s production, Le Reve was purchased by Steve Wynn in 2010. Born in 1952, Dragone is a world renowned theatre director. Born in Cairano, Italy, Dragone studied theatre back in the seventies when he enrolled himself into the Belgian Royal Conservatory of Mons. It wasn’t until the eighties when the talented director relocated to Montreal, Canada where he started working with Guy Caron that his work started being recognized. In 1985, Dragone was invited by Guy Laliberte to join the team of Cirque du Soleil as one of its creators. He is accredited of initiating the contemporary circus movement into the American industry. Since the eighties, Dragone’s productions have been viewed by over forty million audiences. His repertory consists of Le Cirque Reinvente, La Magie Continue, Nouvelle Experience, Quidam, Mystere, Alegria and the House of Dancing Water, to name a few.
This time one of Franco Dragone’s most popular shows, Le Reve is making its way to the live stage again, where it promises to spellbound audiences.
