On top of that, they have also gone on to take the runner up spot in the NCAA/AIAW Tournament twice while winning it the same number of times.

The Stanford Cardinal have been absolutely dominant in baseball since the program began in 1892. Since then, they have managed to get their hands on the regular season conference championship twenty times and have qualified for the NCAA Tournament on a whopping thirty occasions. Sixteen Cardinal seasons have resulted in CWC appearances while two of them have seen them being crowned national champions.
Other Sports and the Cardinal Legacy
The Stanford Cardinal have been dominant in various other sports as well. Their teams have gone on to win one hundred and twenty three national titles. The university has gone on to win the prestigious Learfield Sports Directors Cup for the past eighteen years straight. Two hundred and twenty four medals in different sports have been won by athletes who have somehow been associated with Stanford over the years.
