Basketball

The Wolverines men’s basketball program has also been quite consistent over the years. That consistency has resulted in them lifting the regular season conference title thirteen times, the most recent of which was won in the year 2012. They have also lifted one conference tournament title while making it to the NCAA Tournament two dozen times. Wolverines have finished runners up five times and have gone on to be crowned national champions once.

The Michigan Wolverines have a legacy that puts them in the top bracket of elite athletics programs. They have won fifty five national team championships and have brought home individual national honors on a whopping three hundred and three occasions. They have also amassed well over three hundred and sixty different conference titles to go with multiple conference tournament winning triumphs. A total of two hundred and twenty nine coaches and students from the University of Michigan have taken part in Olympic Games. They have represented twenty four countries and have managed to win seventy two gold, thirty nine silver and thirty nine bronze medals.
