Jason Aldean - Career at a Glance
Jason Aldean moved to the ‘Music City’, Nashville in the late nineties to pursue his music career. He struggled for a few years to find his place in the industry and even signed some contracts with recording companies that eventually fell apart. Finally, 2005 brought him luck and Bow Town Records signed him for his debut album. Aldean is still working with the same company and has released five studio albums with them. His first number one song was Hicktown that not only reached the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart but also earned him the title of the ‘Top New Male Vocalist’ at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006. His sophomore album, ‘Relentless’ was loved for songs like Johnny Cash and Laugh Till We Cried and earned him a Platinum certification. This was followed by two more releases, ‘Wide Open’ and ‘My Kinda Party’ that also found immediate success and recognized the artist with two Country Music Association Awards.
