Hailing from Abbotsford, British Columbia, the pop rock band Hedley has fascinated millions for almost a decade with chart breaking hits and platinum certified albums. The band has won critical as well as commercial acclaim for its work. Hedley’s live performances attract thousands from every corner of the country each year. This season, the band will once again tour around North America in support of its latest studio album ‘Wild Life’. They will be performing live at some major concert venues including Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, Barrie Molson Centre, Stampede Corral, Canadian Tire Centre and Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Formed in 2004, the original lineup of the band consisted of Brandon McKay, Ryan Federau, Kevin Heeres, Kevin Giesbrecht and Jacob Hoggard. The band found instant success with its debut single ‘On My Own’ that landed at number one spot on the Canadian Single chart. The follow-up single ‘Trip’ also did well and reached number eleven on the charts. Hedley continued to enjoy chart success with hits like ‘Gunnin’ as well as ‘Street Fight’.
The band has released a total of four studio albums, nineteen singles and one live album. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2005 and landed at number three position on the Canadian Albums chart. With tracks like ‘Sugar Free’, ‘321’, ‘Trip’ and ‘Villain’, the album managed to sell million copies and was certified two times platinum in Canada. Their second studio release, ‘Famous Last Words’ came out in 2007 and met same success as its predecessor. The album also charted at number three on the Canadian Albums chart and was certified two times platinum. Some of the hits from it included ‘Never Too Late’, ‘Old School’ and ‘She’s So Sorry’.
The band released two more albums, ‘Storms’ (2011) and ‘The Show Must Go On’ (2009). ‘Storm’ became the band’s highest charting album when it reached number two on the Canadian Albums chart, where as ‘The Show Must Go On’ landed at number sixth spot. Both the albums were also certified two times platinum. Hedley’s most recent album ‘Wild Life’ was released in November 2013. Like their previous works, the album met critical as well as commercial fame. It reached the charts at number four spot and was certified Gold within a month of its release.
