The Ultimate Entertainer
Born in 1964, Cedric Antonio Kyles more popularly known as Cedric the Entertainer is a well-known actor, director and comedian. The artist’s birth place is Jefferson City but he grew up in Caruthersville. Attending the Berkeley High School, Cedric enrolled at the Southeast Missouri State University where he studied mass communication. With passion for comedy since a young age, Cedric initially worked as a teacher in high school, before pursuing career as a professional comedian. Making his debut in the entertainment industry back in 1987, Cedric adopted the name Cedric the Entertainer and started working with television network such as BET and HBO. Some of the few first shows that he was seen acting in include Def Comedy Jam and ComicView. Earning fame almost instantly, Cedric received the Richard Pryor Comic Award in 1994. He was also the Grand Prize winner of Miller Lite Comedy Search Show. Just a few years, later, Cedric decided to try his hand at acting and debuted on the hit television sitcom named "The Steve Harvey Show". From here, Cedric started a never ceasing successful journey that would bring him worldwide success.

Cedric the Entertainer has not only made his mark on the silver screen but also on the box office. Some of his most popular television appearances include his roles in The Soul Man, 2 Broke Girls, Real Husbands of Hollywood, The Proud Family, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Hot in Cleveland, It’s Worth What?, Take Two with Phineas and Ferb, Wild ‘n Out, The Boondocks and Cedric Entertainer Presents Himself, to name a few. Some popular films where Cedric has showcased his acting skills include Big Momma’s House, Barbershop, Intolerable Cruelty, Man of the House, the Honeymooners, Cadillac Records and Lemony Snicket’s a Series of Unfortunate Events. Apart from this Cedric has also provided his voice for the character of Maurice in Madagascar, Leadbottom in Planes and Carl in Ice Age.
Honors & Achievements
For his contributions to the entertainment industry that have lasted for over 25 years, Cedric received induction into the St. Louis Walk of Fame in 2008. Cedric was also invited to perform at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner as the lead comedian in 2007. The comedian also pushed his luck at wrestling by competing against Chavo Guerrero on WWE RAW in 2009. Cedric defeated the professional wrestling winning the match by pinfall. Furthermore Cedric made his directorial debut in 2010 with his feature film "Dance Fu". Released via his own company named Bird and a Bear Entertainment, Dance Fu starred Kel Mitchell and Katerina Graham.
The Upcoming Event
Cedric the Entertainer is preparing to perform standup acts at The Mirage, this season. The show is expected to take place at Terry Fator Theater, an intimate facility that is located in one of Las Vegas’ top casino resorts. Situated at the Las Vegas Strip, the venue is currently named after comedian Terry Fator who signed a one hundred million dollar, five year lease with The Mirage. Like always the hype related to availability of Cedric the Entertainer tickets is spreading like wild fire, with rising demands.
