Britney Spears recently announced that she will be kicking off a two year gig, at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas. The twenty four months will see the popular singer perform her new compositions as well as her old hits. Titled ‘Britney: A Piece of Me,’ the concert series will feature up to fifty shows a year. The event’s official announcement came from the diva herself, on the popular TV show ‘Good Morning America.’

Born in McComb, Mississippi, Britney Spears made her first television appearance as a contestant in the Star Search competition, in 1992. It featured hits such as ‘Till the World Ends,’ and ‘I Wanna Go.’ In 2012, Spears took on another role as one of the judges on the panel of the acclaimed TV singing competition show ‘The X Factor.’ She took up the new task really well, giving healthy and honest feedback to the contestants. She was described by her fellow judge Simon Cowell as ‘very unpredictable.’
