Third Eye Blind Tickets

The alternative rock band ‘Third Eye Blind’ has a unique ability to marry modern-rock to melodic hooks. Emerging in the nineties at a time of grunge backlash, the band brought out some smashing hits on the pop and rock charts. Known to their fans as 3eb, the talented ensemble came in the limelight with their 1997 self-titled album, which featured several chart topping songs. The single ‘Semi-Charmed Life’ reached fourth position on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top of Modern Rock Tracks for eight weeks straight. The 3eb is still among the favorites of rock fans and Third Eye Blind tickets are still in high demand for their upcoming concerts.

Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind had a brighter sound as compared to their initial contemporaries. The influence of classic pop and rock traditions was quite evident on the early works of 3eb. The band survived and progressed despite the fact that at the time of its creation the music world was dominated by the angst-ridden heavy beat music which continued throughout the nineties decade. The early milestones for the success of the rock band were a number of super hit singles, many of which reached the top tiers on charts.

Origins, Debut and Rise to Stardom

Formed in San Francisco in early nineties, the quartet had its first release in 1993 followed by another in 1994. The vocalist Stephen Jenkins, guitarist Kevin Cadogan, bassist Arion Salazar and drummer Mark Hensely delivered their music with rolling rhythms and charismatic beats. Working with inner energy and an unmatched enthusiasm it was not long that this ensemble was able to create an unavoidable place for themselves in the field of rock music.

Their self-titled, debut album released in 1997, represented the do-it-yourself ethic of the band. The fiercely independent band had the boldness to choose Elektra as their main genre in times of hard beats, and kept control and creativity alive in their music. The year 1999 saw the second album by 3eb, which managed to sell more than 75,000 copies in the first week of release. The band took a gap afterwards in their releases but kept touring and performing across the country as well as internationally.

Twist and Reloading

By 2001, Third Eye Blind had lost one of its most crucial members, Cadogan, who had been pertinent in their performances and was writing the band’s material. He was replaced by Tony Fredianelli as the band’s guitarist. Even after that for some part of time the band refrained from any huge commercial performance and only held concerts for charity events. Two years later, the band re-emerged with the release of ‘Out of the Vein’.

Although this album could not re-ignite the spark such as previous albums by 3eb, the band did return to its full glory. A best-of compilation was released in 2006 and the band carried on with their extensive touring as well. Their much awaited fourth album finally released in 2009, titled ‘Usra Major’, followed by a digital EP ‘Red Star’ a year later.  The connection that this talented ensemble kept alive with their fans also enabled them to keep their fan following intact. Even today fans go crazy over Third Eye Blue tickets every time there is an announcement of their concert.

‘Third Eye Blind’ ahead

The fifth album by the band is yet again among the most anticipated releases of all times in the world of rock music. Current lineup of the band, Stephen Jenkins and Tony Fredianelli on vocals and guitars and Brad Hardreaves on drums, has announced that the fifth album by the group will be their last record. This has heightened fans’ curiosity even further. The recording of the fifth album was scheduled to begin in June this year. Although the release date has not been announced yet, the demand for the album is soaring high as is the demand for the tickets of the upcoming concerts by the band.
