Rod Stewart’s music journey started in the early 60s when he became a part of the band, The Ray Davies Quartet that was later renamed as The Kinks. He rose to prominence in 1967 after joining the Jeff Beck Group as a vocalist and the occasional songwriter. During his association with the band, he earned commercial and critical success.

His debut record, An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down came out in 1969 and it hit the music charts in Australia and the US. From 1971 to 1976, he had five consecutive UK chart topping records that were either certified Platinum or Gold in different countries. The start of the new decade propelled him to new heights of success. Among others, albums like Tonight I’m Yours, Body Wishes and Out of Order went Multi-Platinum in the US and Canada.
Throughout the 90s, Stewart continued to enjoy widespread fame with his series of commercially and critically successful albums. All of the albums released in the 90s made it to various music charts and received certifications for their consistent sales. In 2000s, Stewart remained prominent on the charts with his popular Songbook album series. His latest studio work, Time was released in May 2013 that turned out to be a number one hit on the UK Albums chart.
