The OneRepublic story started in the year 2003 when the band was incepted. They first shot to prominence through MySpace. Their songs and all that they were doing on the social networking website caught the attention of the masses. They released their first album “Dreaming Out Loud” which hit music stores in 2007. The album went as high as the fourteenth spot on the charts.

OneRepublic then followed it up by coming out with their second album titled “Waking Up” two years later. It did a wonderful business as well and reached as high as the twenty first spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Then came their most recent album, “Native” in 2013. It too achieved considerable success and the track “Counting Stars” went to capture second spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Another single from Native, “Something I Need” has gone platinum in Australia. So what started off as a small project on MySpace has now gone on to become a huge name in rock music and it will only get bigger.

The Script

The Script trace their roots back to 2001 when two best friends Mark Sheehan and Danny O’Donoghue teamed up to form their own band in Dublin. They made their debut into main stream music with a self-titled album in 2008. Its predecessor “Science & Faith” hit music stores in 2010 and went to the top of the charts in the UK and Ireland. It has since gone on to sell well over one and a half million copies around the globe.

Their third and the most recent album was titled “3” and it was released later in 2012.  It debuted on the second spot in the UK and went as high as capturing thirteenth place in the United States. The Script have also won one World Music Award and three Meteor Ireland Music Awards. They have also been nominated for two prestigious Brit Awards for their efforts.
