She started to perform almost every weekend and that provided her invaluable insight into what it took to perform in front of a live audience.

First Steps as a Professional Artist

Kacey continued to play through her high school. Then with some funding from her family, she recorded her first album “Movin On.” She was only seventeen years old. Kacey followed that up by releasing another independent album next year in 2003 titled “Wanted: One Good Cowboy.”

Nashville Star and Big Label Debut

She hit the studios and released her song “Merry Go Round.” That was followed by her big label debut album titled “Same Trailer Different Park” in the year 2012. The track as well as the album turned out to be huge hits to announce Kacey’s arrival into mainstream music in some style.
