One of the biggest names in Latin music, Juan Gabriel is all set to take to the stage once again. Juan Gabriel tickets have been the talk of the town more or less every time he has gone on a tour and that is expected to be the case this time around as well.

The Beginning

Juan Gabriel’s real name is Alberto Aguilera Valadez and he was born in a little town called Paracuaro. Gabriel first got hooked to music when he was sent to a boarding school. He met his teacher Juan Contreras there who taught his young student multiple things including music. Gabriel was a quick learner and by the time he was thirteen years old, he wrote his first track.

Gabriel left the school not too long afterwards and began to perform as a singer. He changed his name to Adan Luna. His talents were there for everyone to see and slowly but surely, Gabriel began to make his presence felt. His road to stardom was about to begin and in some style too.

Gabriel earned his first recording contract in 1971 and changed his name to Juan Gabriel. He then proceeded to write and release his first major hit, “No Tengo Dinero.” The song was included in his debut album titled El Alma Joven…  The track was a huge hit and so was the album. The two combined to bring Juan Gabriel to the attention of the masses. He has been under the spotlight for all the right reasons ever since.

Albums and Legacy

As one of the most celebrated names in Latin music, Gabriel came out with classics like “El Alma Joven Vol. II,” “El Alma Joven Vol. III,” “Juan Gabriel Con El Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan,” “10 Exitos de Juan Gabriel,” “A Mi Guitarra,” “ Juan Gabriel con, Mariachi Vol. II,” “Siempre Estoy Pensando en Ti,” “Siempre En Mi Mente, “Espectacular,” “ Ella,” “Todo,” “Debo Hacerlo,” “Gracias Por Esperar,” “Abrázame Muy Fuerte,” “Por Los Siglos,” “La Historia del Divo,” “ Juan Gabriel,” “Mis Favoritas,” “Boleros” and “Celebrando” among many others.

Juan Gabriel has his own star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not only that but he has also been inducted into the Billboard Latin Hall of Fame for all that he has done and achieved over the course of a stellar career. He is a regular in contributing to charities as well and to this day performs around ten to twelve benefit concerts every year.
