Ashley Monroe

Hailing from Knoxville, Ashley developed the passion for music at a young age. At eleven, she participated in a local talent show where she sang ‘I Want To Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart’. This led her towards a steady flow of work at a Pigeon Forge based theater. After moving to Nashville with her mother, Ashley was signed by the Sony Records where she recorded her debut album.

Ashley released her debut single ‘Satisfied’ in 2006 that failed to chart on the Top 40 Hot Country Songs chart. However, her subsequent single 'I Don’t Want To' managed to land at number thirty-seven position. In 2007, Ashley parted ways with her label and her recorded album ‘Satisfied’ was left unreleased. She later released the album digitally via retailers such as Rhapsody and iTunes.

In 2013, Ashley released her second studio album ‘Like A Rose’ on Warner Bros. Nashville label. The album was extremely well received by the critics and made it to number ten position on the Top Country Albums chart.  It scored a five out of five star rating from USA Today.
