Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker, who initially found fame as the lead singer of the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish decided that rock wasn’t his thing in 2002. This led to his entry into the country music world, where he “feels right”. Rucker formed the band in 1986, when he was still in the University of South Carolina. His fellow band members were Jim Sonefeld, Dean Felber and Mark Bryan. Till day, the band has come up with five studio albums and has six singles that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 list. Most of the band’s songs were co-written by Rucker.

Darius Rucker’s debut solo album “Back to Then”, of R&B genre hit the market in 2002, through the Hidden Beach Recordings. After that, Rucker took six years break from his solo career and in 2008, signed to Capitol Records as a country music star. Soon his second solo album “Learn to Live” was in the market. The title track from the record, Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It hit the Hot Country Songs chart. It also gave him the honor of being the very first Afro American singer to make it to the top of Hot Country Songs list. Rucker has recently released his latest album, “True Believers” which has done really well in the market, and now in its support, he is hitting the road for the 2014 tour.

Eli Young Band

The country music group, Eli Young Band was formed in 2000 in Denton, Texas. It was founded by college friends who had been together at the University of North Texas. The band’s first, self titled album hit the market in 2002. It was followed by “Level” through the Carnival Records. That same year, they were the opening act for Miranda Lambert’s concert. This was followed by intense touring session, which also included recordings in several different studios. The result of it was their third album, “Jet Black & Jealous”.  The song Always the Love Songs made it to number eleven spot on the Billboard charts, giving the band its first real national exposure.

Till day, Eli Young Band has released four studio albums and their fifth one, “10,000 Towns” is going to come out in the March of 2014. Apart from that, the band has also released one live album, “Live at the Jolly Fox”. Now they are going to be touring with Darius Rucker and David Nail for rocking performances across America.

David Nail

Country music’s shining star, David Nail made his debut in 2002 with his single, Memphis. Nail signed to MCA Nashville five years later and in August of 2009, released “I’m About to Come Alive” which featured two songs that made it to Top 20 list. These were, Turning Home and Red Light. It was followed by his second album “The Sound of a Million Dreams”. The album came out in November of 2011 and the song Let It Rain from it made it to number one spot a few months later.

David Nail’s single Whatever She’s Got hit the market earlier in 2013. It is supposed to be the title track of his upcoming album, “I’m A Fire” which will be released in March of 2014. However for 2014, Nail has other plans as well which include a tour with Darius Rucker and Eli Young Band.
