The Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion is an amphitheatre located outdoor near the Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Gilford in New Hampshire in the United States. Meadowbrook was created in early 1996 as a venue for summer musical concerts. In the beginning it was known as Meadowbrook Farm, the exhibition area comprised of a provisional stage. The seating capacity at that time was about 2,500 and the lawn area could accommodate only 2,000 people. However, five years later, the venue was re-named as the Meadowbrook Music Festival and a permanent stage was almost immediately replaced by the temporary one.
As the venue started to gather a lot of attention, the chief architects began to majorly renovate the place. Some 4,000 reserved seats, 3,000 general admission seats and 540 reserved lawn seats were installed. Along with this, the roof of the pavilion was also installed. After another three years, in 2005, a second stage was added to the venue. With a complete tented area and a full service bar, where local bands began to play for avid concert enthusiast before the actual concert took place. People started to recognize and enjoy listening to great live music. Soon the Meadowbrook Music Festival was introduced by the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion for bigger celebrities to perform.
