A Melodious Journey
Some artists are born to be stars and Miranda Lambert is one of them. Her journey as a musician started when she was a child and later became a part of her high school music group, “The Texas Pride Band”. Miranda kept moving forward with great poise and style. Her supportive parents helped her learn and grow at every step of her career. The very first juvenile yet professional music effort resulted in the self-release of her first album in 2001. Self-titled, the album featured her original songs that she had penned herself and started a new chapter in her music journey.
From Nashville Princess to Country Queen
The year 2003 saw the teenager in the reality show “Nashville Star”. Qualifying as a second runner-up, Miranda Lambert made her way to the Epic Records due to her feisty style and mature musicianship. The record deal led to the release of her first full-fledged album Kerosene in March 2005. The album topped the US Country charts and spawned four top-forty hit songs. This phenomenal success brought a long series of tours and Miranda performed with other country stars such as Keith Urban and Toby Keith across the country. Combining gifted skills like songwriting with her precise vocals, Miranda produced her second record Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The album released in May 2007 and included the hit number Gunpowder & Lead. The album became a country chart topper and eventually was certified as Platinum. Both of the albums earned Miranda several awards including for “Album of the Year” and “Top New Female Vocalist”. The third studio album Revolution came out in September 2009 and received critical acclaim for its originality and freshness. Topping the US Country charts, the album became the third consecutive record by the artist to top the charts. It also spawned many hit singles such as White Liar, The House That Built Me and Heart Like Mine. Balancing consistent touring with her songwriting and recording, Miranda came up with her fourth studio album Four the Record in November 2011. The album turned out to be another country chart-topper and reached at three on Billboard 200. These one after the other successes crowned Miranda as an undisputed country queen and she continues to rule the hearts of her fans.
