Watching mankind compete against the wild beasts has always been a very rousing experience. No wonder the Rodeo Tickets always remain in high demand and have a great market value!
Rodeo is a very aggressive and competitive sport in nature. It involves humans as riders and measure their skill and speed with horses, cows, and other livestock animals. Nevertheless, rodeo can also be referred to as an entertainment event coupled with the sport. These large scale events include exhilarating events like bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, and steer wrestling. These events are split up into two fundamental groups - the rough stock events and the timed events. Sometimes, other events, such as pole bending, breakaway roping, or goat tying may also be included in some rodeos, but that solely depends on the authorizing organization and state.

The areas from where the sport of rodeo initially emerged were Spain and Mexico. The working practices of cattle herding by the people living in these regions became the foundation of rodeo. The term 'rodeo' has also been derived from a Spanish word rodear, which originally meant roundup, and refers to surround. Soon after, the sport paved its way to other parts of the world as well, including USA, South America, Canada, and Australia.

The entire history of rodeo is full of interesting characters and is a multi-cultural mix of customs and traditions. Let it be the Wild West Shows or the modern sport, the vaqueros or the American cowboys, you will find it all very intriguing. The sport that used to be a working ranch competition has now turned into a huge national sport. It is no longer a sport subjected to only the ones following a rural life style, or living on ranches. It is open for all those who have a passion for thrill and like living on the edge! It is the spirit that counts, not the geography!

Today, rodeo is largely accepted and well-liked in Alberta, the Canadian province, and also all through the western United States. In addition, the rodeo has become the official state sport of Wyoming and Texas. The sport is also quite popular throughout North America, where the professional rodeos are authorized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). The Native Americans and other minority groups also have associations. However, it is important to note that rodeo has developed in associations at regional and state levels, along with establishing itself at the high school and college level. A good example for this is the National Little Britches Rodeo Association, which is an association for younger children.

There are many leading rodeos in the present world, such as National Finals Rodeo (Las Vegas, Nevada); Frontier Days (Cheyenne, Wyoming); Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Houston, Texas); National Western (Denver, Colorado) and Calgary Exhibition and Stampede (Calgary, Alberta).
The season in which competitive rodeo usually takes place is spring, running through fall. However, the customary peak for the largest number of rodeos to take place is the weekend of 4th of July. As of recent account, the event of modern professional rodeo runs longer, as it concludes in December with the PRCA National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All the people with a competitive spirit are great rodeo fans. Additionally, the number of such people is increasing day by day! As the excitement has taken over all people from around the world, the Rodeo Tickets have become one of the most valuable commodities in the present world!
